Some Sage 300 features such as 1099 Filing are missing after upgrade

Summary

After a new intallation or upgrade, only the ADMIN user can see some important features, such as A/P, Vendor Reports, 1099 filing.

Cause

Some features in Sage 300 need special permissions to run. After each installation, you need to re-enable them, especially commands related to tax forms.  

Resolution

After each upgrade, right-click on your desktop icon and choose “Run as Administrator.” 

This refreshes certain menu options, so they should now work for all users.

You only need to do this once per upgrade.
