Sage 300 Error: "Invalid Input. Item [number] - Location [name] does not exist."
When performing Day End Processing, the following error may occur:
Error: “Invalid Input. Item [number] – Location [name] does not exist.”
The Location [name] for the item [number] is missing.
- Try creating a location for the item [number]
- If this does not help, consult a Business Partner for Data Repair
When an item is changed from stock to kitting item the location becomes cleared. Therefore, if an outstanding exists with previous item status it will not be able to process.
