These are a couple of causes that could be leading to this issue:

  • The SOTAMAS90 DSN may be damaged or missing.
  • The Windows account running the C/S ODBC Driver service does not have FULL SHARE and NT Permissions under Sage 100 ERP Share.

How to resolve this case:

    • Re-run Workstation Setup to re-establish the DSN, then access Sage 100 again.
    • Verify old Providex ODBC driver (v.4.21) is not installed.
      1. Go to Start, Control Panel, Program and Features.
      2. Look for ‘Providex ODBC Driver (v.4.21)’.

Note: Search for and rename versions of ‘PVXIO.dll‘ under the ‘C:\Program Files (x86)\Sage Software\Providex ODBC Driver\‘ folder. Test printing from Sage 100, to verify this was the cause of the issue.

    1. If no longer using, UninstallProvidex ODBC Driver (v.4.21)‘.
      • Uninstall Workstation Setup (if prompted, choose the option to remove DLLs and registry entries), re-run Workstation Setup to re-establish the DSN, then access Sage 100 again.
      • Give the user account running the Sage 100 Client Server ODBC Driver service FULL PERMISSIONS to the Sage 100 ERP Share.

Note: If running with Local System account make sure the SYSTEM account has FULL SHARE and NT (Security) permissions.
