Progress bar appears when clicking on any Sage 300 icon

Description

Some functions in Sage 300 ERP may hang when attempting to open them. The progress bar may appear, but the user interface will not open. The process may have to be terminated by using the Windows Task Manager.

Resolution

Section I:

  1. Select the Windows Start button
  2. In the search box, type Regacc
  3. When the icon appears, Right-click and select Run as administrator
  4. In the log file created, confirm that the “AccpacGridCtrll.dll” is registered successfully

Section II: If the file is not registered, manually register the .dll file as follows

  1. Select the Windows Start button
  2. In the search box, type cmd
  3. In the command line, type: regsvr32 “\RUNTIME\AccpacGridCtrl.dll”
