Nothing happens when preparing an Inventory in 2024.0
Summary
After updating to 2024.0, nothing is happening when tyring to Prepare an Inventory.
Resolution
This issue can be resolved by one of the following options:
- Run the Sage Fixed Asset install again, select Repair when prompted, click Next and click Finish when the process is complete.
- Manually copy the MobileInventoryFileAccess.dll from another working system into the C:\Program Files (x86)\Sage Fixed Assets Tracking product folder.
- Uninstall and install the Sage Fixed Assets program.
In tracelog there will be an error that starts with:
- Description: Could not load file or assembly ‘MobileInventoryFileAccess, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null’ or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
