There are several Methods available to import data into Sage 100. Here are 3 methods:
Visual Integrator
∙ Import Job Maintenance is used to create the import job, select the table to import data into and specify the source file to be used to read data from.
∙ The Data tab in Import Job Maintenance allows you to specify fields of data to be imported to and the source of that data.
∙ The Visual Integrator module must be owned on the account.
General Ledger Exchange
∙ Import GL data (not transactions) via General Ledger Exchange
∙ General Ledger Exchange can only be used to import and export Accounts, Budgets and General Journal Entries. The functionality to import and export Transaction Journals does not exist in the General Ledger Exchange.
∙ The Visual Integrator (VI) module can be used to import Transaction Journal Entries.
