How to copy Visual Process Flows (VPF)’s
Resolution
To copy an existing VPF to another Visual Process Flow within the same installation:
- Open Modules, Visual Process Flows, Visual Process Flow Manager
- Highlight the VPF you would like to Copy
- Click the “Copy” button on the top right
- Click “Next” to confirm
- Fill out the remaining fields in the Wizard to complete your new VPF
- Save the new VPF you have created
To Copy an Existing VPF to a separate installation:
- Open Modules, Visual Process Flows, Visual Process Flow Manager
- Highlight the VPF you would like to Copy
- Click on the “Open Process Flow Designer” button on the bottom left
- When the Designer opens, select File, Export as Text
- Highlight and copy the text that appears and save it in Notepad or another text editor
- Go to the separate installation
- Open Modules, Visual Process Flows, Visual Process Flow Manager
- Either select to create a new VPF, or modify an existing one
• Once the Designer opens, select File, Import
• Paste in the contents of the Text file and accept
• Save the new VPF you have created
