Cause

The PDF Directory path set to store the document may be invalid. Or the Windows login account of the user (and/or the account used to run Sage 100 ERP Advanced or Premium as an Application or Service) does not have proper permissions to the path.
Resolution

Verify that the setting for PDF Directory is still valid. Consider temporarily changing to another location, such as the “MAS90” directory on the server to test.

  1. Open ModulesPaperless OfficeSetup.menu.
  2. Depending on the report or form, select one of the following:
    • Journal and Register Maintenance
    • Period End Report Maintenance
    • Report Maintenance
    • Form Maintenance.
  3. Based on the task selected, click the Journal and Register EntriesPeriod End Report EntriesReport Entries, or Form Entries(flashlight) icon to view the list of settings already created.
  4. Select the setting that best matches the Company Code, Module and Document.
  5. Verify that the path in the PDF Directory field is valid and neither of the following:
    • A drive on another workstation
    • A mapped drive that is disconnected
  6. Verify that the Windows user account (and the account used to run Sage 100 ERP Advanced or Premium as an Application or Service) has full permissions to that location.

Note: For Sage 100 ERP Advanced or Premium, a UNC path (e.g. \\servername\sharename\resource) must be used when setting up PDF Directory locations. Test that the path is accessible for Windows accounts, by going to Start / Run (from the Windows Desktop) and entering the UNC path.
