Error 200 SY_ReportCommon.pvc 596,703 or 705 in Sage 100
Summary
When you print a report, you see either Error: “200 SY_ReportCommon.pvc 596” or Error: “200 SY_ReportCommon.pvc 703” or Error: “200 SY_ReportCommon.pvc 705 on Sage 100 2023” or “Error 200 program SY_ReportCommon.pvc line 674 printing any report on Sage 100 2024”
Cause
- Sage 100 workstation install corrupted.
- Records used for printing may be corrupted.
- Multiple versions of Crystal Reports installed
Resolution
For Sage 100 2023 and higher
NOTE: Sage 100 2023 may display the Error: “200 sy_reportcommon.pvc 705” if the necessary prerequisites “SAP Crystal Reports runtime engine for .NET Framework” 32-bit AND 64-bit are not both installed (both are normally installed in case the utility is run to convert Sage 100 32-bit to 64-bit or vice-versa). If Sage 100 2023 was installed with 32-bit selection and only 64-bit runtime is installed, for example, this will cause the error. Or if it conflicts with other SAP Crystal Reports as noted elsewhere.
- Uninstall any versions of Crystal Reports and Crystal Reports Runtime Engine via Add/Remove Programs (Windows, Control Panel, Programs and Features)
- Manually install both 64-bit & 32-bit Crystal Runtime located in folder ..\MAS90\wksetup\Prerequisites\CrystalRuntime
- Uninstall and Reinstall Workstation Setup by right-clicking and selecting “Run as administrator” (This option should install required prerequisites)
For Prior Versions of Sage 100
- Uninstall Workstation Setup via Add/Remove Programs (Windows, Control Panel, Programs and Features)
- Reboot the workstation.
- Uninstall any remaining versions of Crystal Reports and Crystal Reports Runtime Engine.
- Reinstall Workstation Setup from the server’s “..\MAS90\Wksetup\Autorun.exe” file. Make sure to right-click “Autorun.exe” and choose “Run as Administrator”.
- If the issue continues, manually install Crystal Runtime located in folder ..\MAS90\wksetup\Prerequisites\CrystalRuntime (32-bit if using Sage 100 32-bit).
Additional information
If you receive the related message “Vendor code 110” after first receiving “Error #200 Sy_ReportCommon.pvc 703,” then this may require Windows updates to correct.
