Sage 300 Earning or Deduction does not appear on the check when calculating payroll

Description

When processing payroll in Sage 300, the following issue may occur:
Earning or Deduction does not appear on the check

Cause

The Include Earnings Deductions with these Frequencies is not selected. Earning or Deduction may not be configured correctly under employee profile and timecard.

Resolution

To resolve the issue, do the following:

  • When calculating payroll select correct frequencies under “Include Earnings Deductions with these Frequencies” that match Earnings and Deductions code
  • Make sure that in employee profile, pay the ‘calculate?’ column of the Earning and deduction is set to : Yes
  • Ensure the Start Date of the Earning/Deduction has the correct date
