Daily Transaction Register hangs on "Processing Daily Transaction Register" in Sage 100
Cause
- Sage Engineering is currently researching this issue
- Is known to occur on Windows 11 Version 22H2 workstations
Resolution
CAUTION: This solution requires advanced knowledge of your computer’s operating system. Contact your system administrator for assistance. Modifying your Windows Registry incorrectly can severely affect system operations. Sage is not responsible for operation issues caused by incorrectly modifying your Windows Registry. Always create a backup of your data before proceeding with advanced solutions.

- Only known to occur in Sage 100 32-bit versions on Windows 11 22H2 or 23H2 workstations
Possible Workaround
- Switch to Sage 100 64-bit (NOTE: Only available with Sage 100 2021 or higher)
- Convert to 64-bit Version of Sage 100
NOTE: You can also find instructions in the Upgrade Guide included with the Installation files
- Convert to 64-bit Version of Sage 100
- Close hung task and reprint Daily Transaction Register directly from Menu (i.e. Sales Order, Main, Daily Transaction Register)
Additional notes:
This can also occur in Payroll module when printing second report (i.e. Payroll Data Entry Audit Report followed by Employer’s Expense Summary, where it hangs printing Employer’s Expense Summary).
