Cancelling Backordered Quantities in Order Entry does not change status to Complete
When canceling an order in Sage 300 Order Entry, and zeroing out the Qty on Backorder, the status does not change to “Complete.”
Resolution
Advised it will only change to complete on shipment entry, even if it’s a zero quantity shipment. Otherwise, change the quantity ordered to zero on the order as well. The field then will open to change to complete. After posting and running day-end processing Lost Sales is updated.
