Sage 100 Error 200 SY_ReportCommon.pvc during printing

Summary

Receive the error “200 SY_ReportCommon.pvc Line 596, 703, 705 or Line 674” printing any report on Sage 100.

Cause

  • Corrupted Sage 100 workstation install
  • Corrupted records used for printing
  • Multiple versions of Crystal Reports installed

Resolution

  1. In the Windows search, type Control Panel, then press Enter.
  2. Select Programs and Features.
  3. Uninstall any versions of Crystal Reports and Crystal Reports Runtime Engine.
  4. Uninstall the Workstation Setup.
  5. Be sure that Windows Smart App Control is turned off. If it is on, turn it off.
  6. Using Windows Explorer, browse to the “…\MAS90\Wksetup” folder.
  7. Reinstall the Workstation Setup by right-clicking the Autorun.exe and select Run as Administrator.
    • This option installs the required prerequisites in most environments

For Prior Versions of Sage 100

  1. In the Windows search, type Control Panel, then press Enter.
  2. Select Programs and Features.
  3. Uninstall the Workstation Setup.
  4. Uninstall any remaining versions of Crystal Reports and Crystal Reports Runtime Engine.
  5. Reboot the workstation.
  6. Using Windows Explorer, browse to the “…\MAS90\Wksetup” folder.
  7. Reinstall the Workstation Setup by right-clicking the Autorun.exe and select Run as Administrator.
  8. If the issue continues, manually install the Crystal Runtime located in this folder: ..\MAS90\wksetup\Prerequisites\CrystalRuntime (32-bit if using Sage 100 32-bit).
