How to activate Sage 300 licenses

The license activation process has changed. In the past, each License was activated separately using a serial number and an activation code. The new Subscription License model downloads an entitlements.xml file from the Subscription Entitlement Server (Cloud Portal), containing a list of all the Client’s Licenses.

Note: In a current version of Sage 300, make sure the most recent Product Update is installed

  1. Enter the most recent System Manager Serial Number in the Serial Number field on the License Information tab of License Manager
  2. Click on the Refresh button
  3. This will download an entitlements.xml file to the Shared Data folder, and the current licenses will show in the Licenses and Users tabs of License Manager
  4. The Expires On Date in the Status column will match the End Date of the current Support Plan
