Sage 100 Business Insights Explorer the Item Transaction View will not load and displays as blank
Cause
- The file “..\MAS90\BIExplorer\Views\ItemTransactions\default.ev” may be corrupted or missing
- The user lacks access to ODBC Security role permissions, preventing display of the data
Resolution
Verify that the affected user(s) are granted ODBC Security rights:
- Log into Sage 100 ERP with a User Logon that possesses sufficient administrative privileges
- Open Library Master, Main menu, User Maintenance
- Select each affected User Logon and note the Role(s) assigned to them
- Open Library Master, Main menu, Role Maintenance
- Select a Role assigned to the affected user(s)
- Click ODBC Security tab
- Verify that the check boxes for the Common Information and Inventory Management modules are selected (checked)
- Click Accept and exit out of Role Maintenance
If the Issue occurs for alll users and Role permissions have already been verified as above:
Replace the “default.ev” file in “..\MAS90\BIExplorer\Views\ItemTransactions” from backup. If you are unable to obtain a copy of this file, Sage Customer Support can provide a sample.
