How to Delete a Custom Field from a Portal in Zoho Projects
Resolution
- Click the Gear Icon in the upper-right corner of the top navigation band.
- Navigate to Customization > Layouts and Fields > Tasks > Fields.
- Hover over the field you would like to delete.
- Click the Trash Icon.
- Deleting a custom field will affect the associated tasks.
- The data stored in the field will be lost.
- Confirm your action.
Note:
- Deleting a field from a portal will permanently delete it from the database.
- If a field is associated with more than 1000 tasks you will not be able to delete it.
