How to Setup Multiple Contacts for Email in Sage 300:

To be able to send email when Multiple Contacts is active, requires the following:

  1. Modify a4w.ini, located in Sage 300 program in runtime folder. Add into [Defaults] section line UseCommaAsEmailAddressSeparator=Yes – KB101708
  1. Ensure SMTP is setup in Company Profile. Refer to online help on how to setup Email. Link provided here.
  1. To be able to send to multiple contacts, add additional contacts for customer in contact tab. This also sets rights for who can and cannot receive reports.
    • Also, for any contact that will receive emails check on “Contact consents to receive emails”.
  • Setup delivery method in Customer processing tab to use multiple contacts.
  • With delivery method set to multiple contacts, select delivery method for “customer”, when printing.
  • Email will be delivered to all contacts
