Add O/E Miscellaneous Charges, a versatile set of utilities designed to enhance your Order Entry process. This category encompasses a range of functionalities aimed at optimizing order handling and management.
This category covers a range of utilities to enhance Order Entry. It currently includes:
Add Delivery Charge to small orders
Automatically adds a delivery charge to orders that are below a specified minimum order value:
- When an order is posted, it checks whether there is a minimum order value for the Customer Group.
- If there is, and the pre-tax value of the order is less than the minimum order value, a delivery charge is automatically added to the order.
- It automatically adds or removes the charge as required when the order modified.
- An override flag can be used to disable auto-charging for individual orders, where required
Add Beverage Container Deposits
Allows fine-grained control in inventories with many different deposit types. Automatically add and manage a two-level deposit:
- Level 1 is for the Container Type (e.g. glass, aluminium, plastic)
- Level 2 is for Container Size
- For each level, there is also a summary deposit that applies to all containers
- An override flag can be used to disable auto-charging for individual orders, where required
When an order is posted, each line is reviewed, and the deposits for the line are added to a running total. The deposit is re-calculated and updated as necessary when quantities are modified or lines removed.
