Description

Error message: “The Use Workstation Default Printer Standard Form is required.” and/or “The Use Workstation Default Printer Standard Report is required.” when click Accept in Library Master, Company Maintenance in Sage 100

Cause

The stored values for one or both of the following settings in Library Master, Company Maintenance, Preferences tab is invalid:

  • Use Workstation Default Printer for STANDARD Report Setting
  • Use Workstation Default Printer for STANDARD Form Code

Resolution

  1. In Library Master, Main menu, Company Maintenance
  2. For the Company Code, on the Preferences tab, select (check) each of the following check box options:
    • Use Workstation Default Printer for STANDARD Report Setting
    • Use Workstation Default Printer for STANDARD Form Code
  3. Click Accept
  4. If one or both of these options are not desired (usually turned off by default), pull up the Company Code record again in Company Maintenance, and deselect (uncheck) the option(s).
