Description

Error: “The Creation Date is required. The Creation Time is required.” or “No valid Creation Date. No valid Creation Time.” when saving an order in Sales Order Entry for Sage 100 ERP

Cause

Possible corruption or bad record.

Resolution/

1. Click OK to leave the error message.
2. Delete the sales order in order to enter a new one again with a new order number.
3. In the Sales Order Entry task window:

1. Right-click in a blank area in the task window
2. Select Panel Settings from the right-click menu
3. Select Reset Panels
4. Select the following check box options only:

o Reset All Grids
o Reset Panel Size and Position

5. Click OK to accept changes in the Reset Panel window
6. Click OK if prompted with the message: “Selected changes will not take effect until you close and restart this task.”
7. Close the Sales Order Entry task window
8. Go back into Sales Order Entry
9. Try entering (or re-entering) the sales order again.
