Sage 100 – How To Customize Memo Pop-Ups
Have you wanted to use the memos in Sage 100 (MAS 90/200) but they pop up at annoying times? Would you like to attach a document, picture, or other type of file to one of these memos? Memos created from modules that have been updated to the New Business Framework (NBF) have expanded functionality. Customer, Vendor, Sales Order/Invoicing and General Ledger Account memos can have file attachments and can be controlled as to when they pop up.

Select a customer for which you’d like to setup a controlled memo and click on the memo button.
Enter a Memo Code (or select an existing code)
Edit the description (if applicable) and set Auto Display to “Always”
Enter your memo text and click on the Settings… button in the upper-right
Click on any/all of the tasks for which you want this memo to pop-up. Click OK to save your choices. To attach a document to a memo, edit the memo and click the Find Attachment (Browse) button and locate the electronic document. Once a document has been attached, you may view the attachment by clicking on the View Attachment button (provided you have the appropriate application with which to open this document.)
