How to Find the Number of Sage 100 User Licenses

Use these methods to find total and available user licenses, seats, and named users in Sage 100. Check each category to manage license usage effectively.

Description

  • The terms “Number of Registered User Licenses” and “Total User Licenses” are synonymous
  • The terms “Available User Licenses” and “User Licenses Available” are also synonymous

Resolution

Option 1 - Access Sage 100 ERP System Information

  1. Open Sage 100 ERP.
  2. Click File menu.
  3. Click Run to open the Sage 100 ERP Run program screen.
  4. For Program, enter: *info.
  5. Click OK to open the Sage 100 ERP System Information window.
  6. View the following information available:
    • Total User Licenses
    • Users Licenses Available
    • External Seats
    • Named Users

Option 2 - Access System Configuration

  1. Open Sage 100 ERP.
  2. Access System Configuration using one of the two ways below.
    • Click File menu
    • Click Register to open System Configuration
      or
    • Open Library Master, Setup menu, System Configuration
  3. Access the Modules tab.
  4. View the following information available:
    • Number of Registered User Licenses
    • Number of Registered External Seats
    • Number of Registered Named Users
    • Available User Licenses
    • Available External Seats
    • Available Named Users

Important Information

If Sage 100 Application Server runs as a service, launching Application Server Configuration uses an extra license. Running it as an application avoids this.
