How to file assign fields from a User Defined Table (UDT) when importing with Visual Integrator
Resolution
Once a UDT has been created and populated, the next step is to create a Linking UDF into the Table being imported into
Create Linking UDF
- Open Custom Office, Main, User-Defined Field and Table Maintenance and select table being imported into that will store UDF
- Click Add and enter name of UDF, select Manual Entry and Click OK
- The UDF Length must be the same length as the Key Length of UDT
- Open Validation Tab and Select User-Defined Table option and select the UDT to be used and click OK
- Click OK to save changes and close User-Defined Field and Table Maintenance
