Sage Fixed Assets Required Fields

Importing Critical Depreciation Fields Each asset contains five fields that are critical to your depreciation calculations. You can import these fields into each of the seven depreciation books. If you choose to import one of these fields for a book, you must import all of them for that book. However, you must import critical fields into at least one book. You are not required to import all seven books.

The five required fields are listed below to create a Sage Fixed Assets. These fields are also necessary when importing new assets from Excel.

• Placed-in-Service Date
• Acquisition Value
• Depreciation Method
• Estimated Life
