Exclude files from virus scanning
Be sure you exclude the following list of files from your anti-virus scanning on your workstations and server:
- SOA
- M4T
- M4P
- M4L
- M4D
- PVC
- LIB
- RPT
- XEQ
- DD
- DDE
- DDF
Note: Some anti-virus software programs have a setting to scan network files. Try turning off “Network Scanning” of files on all workstations and the server.
Use a dedicated file server
Exchange Server may running into performance issues installed with your Sage 100 may slow down performance. You may want to consider moving out some of your applications to their own server.
Upgrade to Sage 100 Advanced or Sage 100 Premium (SQL Version)
Sage 100 Advanced and Premium operate in a client server environment where most users notice significant performance improvements.
