Retention amount field is missing in A/R Invoice Data Entry

Cause

  1. Option is not set to track retention
  2. Job number is not entered in invoice data entry

Resolution

  1. Open Accounts Receivable, Setup, Accounts Receivable Options, Main tab
    • Select Track Job Cost Retention Receivables
    • Accept
  2. Open Accounts ReceivableMainInvoice Data Entry
    • Next Invoice No
    • Select, Customer No
    • Select, Job No
      • If a job number is not entered, the retention amount field will not appear
