“Printer Not Activated, Error Code -41” when printing to Paperless Office in a Terminal Services environment.


Having a redirected Sage PDF Converter results in two Sage PDF Converters on the terminal server which is known to cause conflicts.


Clear the Printer redirection option.

  1. Open Remote Desktop Connection by clicking Start, clicking Programs or All Programs, clicking Accessories, and then clicking Remote Desktop Connection.
  2. Click Options, and then click the Local Resources tab.
  3. Under Local devices and resources, clear the Printers check box.
  4. Click Connect to start the session.
