Newly entered asset does not depreciate

Description

• New asset was entered with BEG Date and BEG Accum fields.
• Cannot depreciate the asset
• Asset not depreciating

Cause

• The asset runs out of life.
• Asset was added with a depreciation method of NO.

Resolution

• Check the life of the asset and correct it. The life of the asset should be from the Place-in-service date to the end of life, not from the BEG date to the end of life.
• Check the depreciation method. Make sure the asset does not have NO as the depreciation method.
