Sage 100 Error “Unable to select this batch. This Batch was created in Invoice Data Entry.”

Description 

“Unable to select this batch. This Batch was created in Invoice Data Entry.” when entering batch number in Shipping Data Entry and “Unable to delete this invoice. Must be deleted in Shipping data entry.” when attempting to delete the invoice accessed from Invoice Data Entry.

Note:  The Batch and Invoices were originally created in Shipping Data Entry.

Cause

There is an incorrect value “I” for BatchSubType$ in GL_CompanyActiveBatch.m4t. It should be “S”

Resolution

Change the value from “I” to “S” for BatchSubType$ in GL_CompanyActiveBatch.m4t using Data File Display and Maintenance
