How to change the location of the repository path when Sage Intelligence cannot be opened

Cause

If you receive an error such as “This repository is for a previous version of SMI. Please create a new Report Repository for the current version” which prevents changing to the correct repository path in Report Manager or License Manager you can change in the config.ini file

Resolution

1. Open windows explorer and go to C:\ProgramData\Sage Software\SageMASIntelligenceXX folder (XX=version number (i.e. 51=2014, 52=2015)
2. Open config.ini file in Notepad
3. Verify the path of the repository folder is correct. If it is not correct, paste the correct path (Reminder, the path must a UNC path)
   • Example: Path=\\\SI510
4. Click File, Save
