How to set up a new look-up table

How to set up a new look up table for a selection &/or multi-select field, once the field is already created?

Resolution

  1. Log into CRM as a user with administrative rights
  2. Go to Administration, Customization, Translations
  3. Select New
  4. Enter in the following values :
    • Caption Code:
    • Caption Family:
    • Caption Family Type: Choices
    • Caption Order: // This is the order in which your options will be displayed
    • US Translation:
  5. Save
