Procedure
- Copy the URL Address(es) that you want in your Excel Data sheet.
- Paste the URL Address(es) into the Excel Data Sheet.
- Paste the URL Address(es) into the Excel Data Sheet.
- After the URL Addresses have been paste in the Data Sheet, click on “Developer Mode” in the Toolbar above.
- Click on “View Code”. A new window will pop up with a white blank canvas to create and enter your formulas. Then click on the tab “Insert” and press “Module” to add your code. A similar window will open.
- Enter this Formula into the Module Canvas:
- After the code is entered in the Module. Save the file and be sure to read the pop up message before continuing. You must save the file as a “macro-enabled workbook”.

- Go to a blank cell and enter the formula as , GetURL, and then select the URL Address that you want to extract. Press Enter and the URL Address will show up.
- The last thing you want to do is copy the formula down to the rest of the URL Addresses and then you are done!
