How to Lookup Stock Transactions on Sage 300 Inventory Control
Steps:
- Open Inventory Control > I/C Statistics and Inquiries > Stock Transactions Inquiry.
- Select a year and period.
- Note: The opening and closing costs that appear in the table are calculated from the start of the year up to the period you specify.
- Specify a range of item numbers, account sets, and locations to include in the inquiry.
- Note: The Quantity and Average Cost columns appear in the table only if you specify a
single item (by specifying the same item number in the From and To fields).

- Click the Go button to view documents that match the criteria you specified. The table displays opening and closing costs as at the year and period you selected (calculated from the start of the year up to the period you specify). It also displays information about transactions for the period, such as receipts, returns, sales, adjustments, transfers, assemblies, and internal usage transactions.
- Note: The Total Cost column appears for all inquiries. The Quantity and Average Cost
columns appear in the table only if you specify a single item (by specifying the same item number in the From and To fields).

- If you want to open the I/C Stock Transactions Inquiry Detail screen and view a list of transactions that include an item (such as Purchase Orders receipts, or Order Entry shipments and invoices):
- Select a row, and then click Details.
- On the I/C Stock Transactions Inquiry Detail screen, if you want to view information about a transaction in a transaction entry screen, select a row, and then click the Drilldown button.
- Click Close to return to the I/C Stock Transactions Inquiry screen.
- If you want to print the I/C Stock Transactions report, click Print. For more information, see “Printing the Stock Transactions Report” (page 310).
