How to Lookup Lot Numbers Information on Sage 300 Inventory Control

Steps:

  1. Open Inventory Control > I/C Statistics and Inquiries > Lot Number Inquiry.
  2. Specify a range of lot numbers, items, locations, and stock dates.
  3. Select the status of lot numbers about which to inquire. You can inquire on available numbers, unavailable numbers, or both.
  4. Click the Go button to view documents that match the criteria you specified.
  5. When viewing lot number information in the table, you can select a row, and then view the following information for a lot number:
    • Details (to view details for the selected lot number on the I/C Lot Numbers screen). For
more information, see “I/C Lot Numbers Screen” (page 434).
    • Transactions (to view a list of transactions for the selected lot number on the I/C Lot
Number Transaction Inquiry screen). For more information, see “I/C Lot Number
      Transaction Inquiry Screen” (page 595).
  6. If you want to print the I/C Serial/Lot List report, click Print.
    • Note: While you are able to enter fractional quantities into lots, Inventory Control may round the amount up or down to the nearest whole number, which can result in discrepancies when reporting lot amounts and costs on the I/C Lot Number Inquiry and I/C Lot Numbers screens.
