Resolution
Use Check, Deposit and Adjustment Entry to enter checks and deposits, and record bank account adjustments. Outstanding checks and deposits can be entered that have been updated in G/L, A/P, A/R, P/R, and P/O, but have not been included in Bank Reconciliation.
- Open Bank Reconciliation, Main, Check Deposit and Adjustment Entry.
- Select a Bank Code from the look up.
- To enter Checks, enter or select the following information on the Checks tab:
- Check Number
- Check Date
- Reference
- Payee Name
- Check amount
- Cleared
- To enter Deposits and Adjustments such as bank charges and interest earned, enter or select the following on the Deposit & Adjustment tab:
- Posting Date
- Seq No
- Posting Type
- Reference
- Comment
- Posting Amount
- Cleared
- Click Accept button.
To delete a Transaction in Bank Rec without affecting General Ledger, do the following:
- Open Bank Reconciliation, Main, Check Deposit and Adjustment Entry.
- Select a Bank Code from the look up.
- Highlight the applicable line on the check or dep/adjustment tab and click the Delete button
- Click Accept
