How to change serial numbers assigned to inventory on hand

Resolution

You can use the I/C Serial/Lot Reconciliation screen to change the serial number assigned to the inventory on hand.

1. In General Ledger, click I/C Periodic Processing, then Serial/Lot Reconciliations.
   The I/C Serial/Lot Reconciliations screen will appear.
2. To change the serial numbers assign to the item, you will need perform a shipment to issue out the serialized inventory.
3. Then receive back the inventory to assign a net of serial numbers.
   Press the F1 key from your keyboard to bring up the F1 help on how to use this screen.

Any transactions performed on this screen will not affect the inventory count.
