How to Change Privileges for a Client User in Zoho Projects
Possible Resolution
Whether you’re a public or private company, clients and external users want to see honesty, transparency, and results. A great way to show that a project is going well is to create client users in Zoho Project, and share your project status with clients.
- Log in to Zoho Projects under a user account that can change user privileges.
- Pick the name of the project you wish to share with a client user in the left sidebar.
- Click on “Users” in the top navigation bar.
- Select “Client Users.”
- Give the user whose Task List privileges you’d like to change and select the pencil-shaped “Edit” icon.
- In the Edit Client User window that pops up, scroll down to the Tasks section.
- Optional: You may also edit the Task List privileges. Please keep in mind that a client user will be able to add/edit/view individual tasks if those items are checked off under the Tasks section, even if the Task List privileges are turned off.
- Finally, select “Update” to save.
