How to Change Privileges for a Client User in Zoho Projects

Possible Resolution

Whether you’re a public or private company, clients and external users want to see honesty, transparency, and results. A great way to show that a project is going well is to create client users in Zoho Project, and share your project status with clients.

  1. Log in to Zoho Projects under a user account that can change user privileges.
  2. Pick the name of the project you wish to share with a client user in the left sidebar.
  3. Click on “Users” in the top navigation bar.
  4. Select “Client Users.”
  5. Give the user whose Task List privileges you’d like to change and select the pencil-shaped “Edit” icon.
  6. In the Edit Client User window that pops up, scroll down to the Tasks section.
  7. Optional: You may also edit the Task List privileges. Please keep in mind that a client user will be able to add/edit/view individual tasks if those items are checked off under the Tasks section, even if the Task List privileges are turned off.
  8. Finally, select “Update” to save.
