Resolution
- Import There are several options for adding new assets:
- It is possible to do a Custom Import from an Excel spreadsheet. See link in Related Resources section for more information.
At a minimum, five critical fields for all books desired will need to be entered:

- Property Type,
- Service Date,
- Acquired Value,
- Depreciation Method,
- and Estimated Life.

- Manually
- In the Tasks pane on the left, click the Add an Asset link.
- In the Asset menu, select Add.
- Or while in Asset List view or Asset Detail view press +You will want to fill in any of the general fields (e.g. Asset ID, Description, Class, Location, G\L Account, etc.) that you would like for this asset and the same critical fields on the asset.
- Then click the Save Asset button. If you try to go to another asset, back to Asset List view, or exit the program, you will also be prompted to save the asset.
