Copying Customized Asset Lists in Sage Fixed Assets

For Sage Fixed Assets version 2023.0 and higher:

The My Views function will save all customizations to the Asset List setup across all companies and databases accessed through the local system.

To copy the Asset List views to another workstation or client, In Windows Explorer:

• Browse to and copy the C:\Program Files (x86)\Sage Fixed Assets\<Sage product folder>\GlobalViewSettings.xml file to the same location on the other workstation or client

For 2022.1 and prior: Asset list customization cannot copy to another company. Duplicating a company via copy company or backup/restore will not bring over any asset list customizations but will reset the list to default settings. You must apply customization to the asset list manually.
